Broccoli a la Plancha
Delicious and simple broccoli for people who don't like broccoli

- 2 c broccoli cut into spears
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- crushed red pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
Cook broccoli in salted water until bright green and tender, about 5 minutes, drain and set aside
While the broccoli is cooking, heat the butter in a heavy pan (cast iron preferred) over medium heat
Add the garlic and cooked broccoli to the pan, sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper, saute until charred
Serve immediately
